A homeowner in Narok needed a dependable energy backup solution to reduce disruptions caused by electricity blackouts.
Kilimo Power supplied and installed a 5kW Deye hybrid solar system combining solar generation, lithium battery storage and intelligent hybrid power management.
The system features six 710W Jinko bifacial solar panels, providing a total installed solar panel capacity of 4.26kWp. These are paired with a 5kW Deye hybrid inverter and a 5.12kWh Deye lithium battery for energy storage.
During normal operation, the system can utilize solar energy to power the home and charge the battery. Stored energy is then available to support the household when grid electricity is unavailable.
Kilimo Power completed the rooftop panel installation, inverter and battery installation, electrical protection, cable management, system configuration and commissioning.
The completed system provides the homeowner with a more reliable source of electricity and greater energy independence during grid outages.
